An Active Week Ahead with Warmth, Cold, Rain and Sun
Enjoy the Tuesday warm-up as temperatures fall behind a midweek cold front.
A warm front is lifting north through our area which will set the stage for a big Tuesday warm up. This warm front will allow high temperatures on Tuesday to top out 20Β° above average! The Piedmont will top out around 70Β° on Tuesday with the Mountains warming to near 60Β°. This warm-up is short lived as a cold front swings through on Tuesday dropping temperatures back to near 60Β° on Wednesday. Expect scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms possible Tuesday morning. A ridge of high pressure builds in behind the front so clouds should decrease through the second half of Tuesday. Just like the warm air, the sunshine we see Tuesday will be short lived as well. Another area of low pressure arrives on Wednesday which will bring scattered showers to the WCCB area. Sunshine, dry conditions and cooler temperatures will return on Thursday and Friday.
Tonight: Cloudy. Widely scatteredΒ showers with an isolatedΒ thunderstorm possible. Patchy fog. Low: 51Β°. Wind: Light.
Tuesday: AM Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Cloudy AM then decreasing clouds. High: 72Β°!! Wind: W/SW 5.
Tuesday PM: Mostly cloudy. Low: 50Β°. Wind: W/SW 5.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered to numerous showers. High: 60Β°. Wind: E 5.
Have a wonderful week & enjoy the Tuesday warmth!
