CMPD Asking For Public’s Help Identifying Two Armed Robbery Suspects

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the publicโ€™s help in identifying two suspects accused of armed robbery at a business last Thursday evening.

According to police, the robbery happened at Smart Pawn & Jewelry, on South Boulevard, around 8 p.m. on Jan. 21. Police say two suspects, armed with weapons, entered the located the pawn shop and took personal property of the business.

CMPD reports that the first suspect has been described as a heavyset man, around 5โ€™10. The second suspect was described as a thin man, approximately 5โ€™11. Both suspects were last seen leaving in a vehicle that was later located unoccupied, according to police.

Detectives believe these suspects may have been involved in multiple robbery cases.
