Silver Alert Cancelled For Iredell County Man And 10-Year-Old Granddaughter

Iredell County Detectives say both Ted Stokes Sr., 84, and his 10-year-old granddaughter Azaria Stokes have been found.

Iredell County Detectives say a Silver Alert has been issued for Ted Stokes Sr., 84, and his granddaughter Azaria Stokes, 10, last scene in Lowell, North Carolina around 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Detectives describe Ted Stokes as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, and usually wearing a button up shirt with tan colored pants.

Azaria Stokes is described by detectives as a 10-years-old, 90 pounds, and last scene wearing a white and green shirt, blue jeans, white socks, and green shoes.

Police say Stokes was driving a gold 2000 Toyota Camry with a North Carolina Registration Plate of PDS-7634.

Detectives say Ted Stokes has mental issues dealing with memory, and Azaria Stokes has been diagnosed with Autism according to the family.
