Rain & Pain Name of Game
On the bright side, sunshine should return briefly for our Tuesday and Wednesday before another soaking weather system arrives.
There’s no rest for the weary ahead. We haven’t had any sunshine across the WCCB Charlotte viewing area since Monday, and the near-term pattern won’t be any more forgiving. Expect rain to continue through much of the holiday weekend ahead; our Valentine’s Day Sunday is looking like a wash, especially for those east of I-77. Showers will become less numerous by Monday morning, but dreary skies will put a damper on our Presidents’ Day. On the bright side, drier and warmer conditions will make a return for our Tuesday and Wednesday, which could allow for sunshine back in the forecast for the first time in over a week. Don’t get used to it, though; another expansive rainmaking system will sweep in by Wednesday night and may stick around through the end of next week.
