Mecklenburg County COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Canceled For February 18th

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Health officials say all COVID-19 vaccination appointments for February 18th in Mecklenburg County have been canceled due to inclement weather concerns.

Officials say due to the forecasted inclement weather on Thursday, February 18th, vaccine shipment delays are anticipated and Public Health is cancelling all first and second dose coronavirus vaccination appointments scheduled through them or StarMed.

Health officials say patients with appointments scheduled for Thursday will be notified of any appointment changes, and new appointments will be guaranteed and provided.

County officials say they may have to postpone or reschedule some appointment events if shipments of the vaccine continue to operate on a delay.
