CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials with the Charlotte Fire Department say 27 firefighters were able to get a structure fire on Alexander Forest Drive under control within 22 minutes Thursday night.
Fire officials say no one was hurt, and investigators say the accidental fire on February 18th was caused by a space heater being too close to combustible materials.
Officials say the occupants of the home are displaced and staying with family, after the fire caused an estimated $105,000 in property loss.
