Parking Lot Arrest Leads Deputies To Drugs, Stolen Firearms, And More In Chester County
RICHBURG, S.C. — Deputies with the Chester County Sheriff’s Office say a parking lot arrest at a hotel led to the discovery of drugs, stolen firearms, and other illegal items.
On Friday, February 19th around 3am, deputies say they were conducting a property check at the Holiday Inn Express in Richburg when they located 27-year-old Dustin Beck in the parking lot. Beck was reportedly possessing an illegal firearm, according to a news release.
Deputies say further investigation led to the discovery of multiple firearms in a backpack. Several of those firearms were reported stolen, according to a news release.
Deputies say they obtained a search warrant for the hotel room Beck was occupying. During the search of the hotel room, deputies say they found an additional firearm, half a pound of methamphetamine, various other drugs, a large sum of cash, and other miscellaneous items, according to a news release.
Beck is facing numerous felony charges. Deputies say they also charged 24-year-old Jada Rogers, of Charlotte, North Carolina, in connection to the incident.
