LANCASTER, S.C. — South Carolina Troopers say 53-year-old Carolyn Crook is under arrest for her involvement in a hit-and-run in Lancaster County that left one pedestrian with injuries on January 21st.
Crook is charged with leaving the scene of a collision resulting in great bodily injury, and is booked at the Lancaster County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing, according to a news release.
Troopers say Crook was driving on Airport Road near Hillcrest Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on January 21st when she hit a man walking and took off after.
Detectives say the pedestrian, 59-year-old James Rollings, was injured and taken to a local hospital to be treated after the collision.
South Carolina Troopers say the investigation into this case remains active and ongoing.
