World Awaits Update On Tiger Wood’s Condition After Terrible LA Car Crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Los Angeles fire officials say golf pro Tiger Woods is very fortunate to be alive following a roll-over crash Tuesday. The crash happened around 7AM California time. Woods was reportedly leaving a hotel and headed to meet New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees. The 45-year-old crashed his SUV, suffering injuries to both legs.

Officials are still investigating, but we know that there were no other cars involved and Woods was the only person in his car. Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva says, “The interior of the cabin of the vehicle was more or less intact. The front end was totally destroyed. The bumpers, everything was destroyed. Airbags deployed all of that. However, thankfully, the interior was more or less intact, which kind of gave him the cushion to survive what otherwise would have been a fatal crash.”

Friends and fans are sending Tiger well-wishes. Steph Curry tells the golf legend to heal up quickly. Cher is “sending prayers to Tiger Woods.” And Jada Pinkett Smith, who says she was just with Woods the day before, is urging people to not take any moment for granted.

This isn’t the first time Tiger has been in a high-profile car accident. He crashed his SUV in 2009 at his home in Florida. That wreck led to the unraveling of his marriage and his squeaky clean image. In 2017, officers arrested him after they found him passed out behind the wheel of his car.

Woods just had back surgery in December to remove a pressurized disc fragment that was pinching a nerve. He had to sit out the Farmers Insurance Open and the Genesis Invitational.

Our question of the night: how do you think Tiger’s career will look after he recovers?
