In Vivid Color: Pushing the Boundaries of Perception in Contemporary Art
Mint Museum Uptown
Tickets $6-$15 Free to members
To celebrate Mint Museum Uptown’s tenth anniversary, In Vivid Color: Pushing the Boundaries of Perception in Contemporary Art brings together four innovative contemporary artists—Gisela Colon, Spencer Finch, Jennifer Steinkamp, and Summer Wheat—who create works celebrating the power of color and its transformative ability to permeate the space around us. Their work is juxtaposed with a selection of paintings and works on paper drawn primarily from The Mint Museum’s permanent collection that explore artists’ exploration of color in more traditional ways.

“Delilah” Virtual Viewing and Panel Discussion
Co-hosted by FFTC and CCCP
This virtual community viewing event will be 7-8:30 p.m., March 2. Viewers must register to watch: bit.ly/OWNDelilahEvent. The episode will be broadcast to the general public at 9 p.m., March 9. Delilah was shot here in Charlotte as a product of the Oprah Network (OWN). There is a virtual screening and panel discussion with the Executive Producer Charles Randolph-Wright (from York County) and one of the stars Maahra Hill. Here’s the premise: Delilah’s doing her best to raise two kids alone and keep her ties to family, friends and faith strong, all the while ceaselessly seeking justice for those who need it most, in a time when the rich and powerful of Charlotte and beyond will do anything to stop her.
