‘Round Town with Rising: Mint Hill

Each Tuesday and Thursday, ride with Rising to surprise locations around our area

MINT HILL, N.C. — Let’s face it, we’ve all seen enough of our own neighborhood in the last year and could use a little road trip ‘Round Town.  Ride along with Rising to surprise new spots each Tuesday and Thursday and get inspired to take a ride for a change of scenery.  Today’s stop:  Mint Hill!

Trampoline parks, Veterans Memorial Park, a living history museum, and lots of great restaurants — there’s no shortage of things to do in Mint Hill.

Visit the downtown square at Highway 51 and Lawyers Road and visit the Hill Bar & Grill, the go-to place for locals and highly recommended for tourists.

Travel through time at the Historic Village on Matthews-Mint Hill Road.  Fun Fact:  Mint Hill was Mecklenburg County’s first town!  The community was founded around the year 1750 by Scots-Irish pioneers.  Today, Mint Hill is home to more than 26 thousand people.

And if you’re feeling a little antsy, get out some energy at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park.  Host a party or go jump it out in your spare time — they host fitness classes!
