Rain to Close Out February, Kick Off March

The cloudy and wet trend will continue through at least midweek, but we'll at least see *some* sunshine on Tuesday.

We’re soaking in a taste of spring for the final day of February, as highs in the 60s, 70s, and 80s have arrived in the WCCB Charlotte viewing area. Don’t expect the good times to roll into March, though, thanks to a cold front moving in from the northwest by Monday morning. Expect lows to only bottom out in the 50s and 60s to start out our Monday, coupled with rain and patchy fog. We should largely dry out by Monday afternoon, but the clouds should stick around through the evening.

Winds from the northwest will settle in by Tuesday, which will significantly drop temperatures into the 40s and 50s. While clouds will dominate the skies for much of the second day of March, at least *some* sunshine should arrive by the afternoon. Rain makes an encore performance on Wednesday before we dry out and warm up again by the end of the week.
