Wet & Windy Start to the Week

Strong cold front bringing showers and a few pockets of heavy rain through the early afternoon. Temps will remain steady through the afternoon for Piedmont, but they will begin dropping across the Mountains/Foothills by mid to late morning. The warmest part of the day has already happened. Expect temps to fall into the 30s/40s north of I-40 by dinnertime. Breezy day as this cold front passes through. Gusts 30-40 mph will be possible. Much COLDER tomorrow morning with lows falling to the mid-30s. Dry and cool Tuesday with temps reaching the mid-50s. Another round of rain Wednesday. But, good news! Dry and sunny weather making a comeback by Thursday. Highs will remain cool to just a touch above average through the weekend.
