A Few Showers Possible Late Tuesday

It’s a much colder start with wind chills ranging from the teens in the mountains to the 30s across the Piedmont. Temps are 20-30 degrees colder than this time yesterday. Highs will top out in the mid-50s today. Tonight, rain returns. The latest trends keep the rain south of I-40. Showers will wrap up by lunchtime Wednesday.

Sunshine returns Wednesday afternoon as highs reach the low 60s. Sunny and dry with an even warmer day in-store Thursday as highs reach the mid-60s. A disturbance to our south will keep temps slightly cooler, but near seasonable highs, as we reach the weekend. A chance for an isolated shower Saturday. A warm and sunny end to the week.
