Edge On The Clock: WNBA Approves Sale Of Atlanta Dream Team To Investor Group

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The WNBA has approved the sale of the Atlanta Dream team to a three-member investor group. It’s thanks in part to LeBron James, who tweeted that he wanted to help the team get new ownership back in January. One of the new owners is former Atlanta Dream player, Renee Montgomery. She spoke out about the former owner, ex-senator Kelly Loeffler, and her views on the Black Lives Matter movement. Montgomery becomes the first former player to be owner and executive of a WNBA franchise.

Plus, Chipotle is hoping you want to spice up your look. The restaurant chain announced it is partnering with cosmetics company e.l.f., for a vegan and cruelty-free makeup.

And, a Japanese billionaire is inviting eight people to join him on a six-day trip around the moon. The billionaire had initially said he wanted artists to join him. But now, he says he’s open to including people from all walks of life to fly with him and is asking the public to apply.
