Support Homelessness In Charlotte With Live Music At Camp North End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Camp North End officials say Sunday they are hosting Benefest with live music and food trucks to support ongoing efforts to help those experiencing homelessness in Charlotte.

The “For The People Party” starts at 12 p.m. and runs through 5:30 p.m. on March 7th with local musicians taking the stage in the Boiler Yard, officials say.

Officials say they will be accepting donations at the free event, and invite guests to experience great music and entertainment while they shine a light on homelessness in the city.

Popbar in Charlotte will be one vendor at the event selling their delicious icy treats with 50 percent of the proceeds going to help those who have been displaced after tent city was evicted.

Officials thank the Blumenthal Performing Arts, J Macks Entertainment, Dupp & Swat Retail Company, and more for helping this event come to life.
