CMS Increases Number of In-Person Learning Days for Students
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Students in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will soon spend more time in the classroom.
Monday night, the school board passed a plan to increase the number of in-person learning days.
The plan calls for a near return to a normal schedule for elementary and K-8 schools in CMS.
It calls for those students to attend class in-person four days a week starting Monday, March 22nd, with a remote day on Wednesdays.
That’s up from two days a week now.
Meantime, the plan also calls for students in traditional middle and high schools to go from rotating into the classroom every three weeks, to attending in-person two days each week starting Monday, March 15th.
