YORK COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead following a head-on collision between a sedan and a dump truck in York County.
The accident happened on Monday, March 8th just before 2:30pm.Β Troopers say the driver of a sedan was traveling south on South Carolina Highway 5 near Cureton Ferry Road when they drove left of center and crashed head-on into a dump truck.
The accident scene was approximately 10 miles southeast of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The driver of the sedan was killed in the crash, according to Troopers.Β The driver of the dump truck was not injured.Β No other details have been released at this time.Β The Coroner’s office has not released the name of the person who was killed.Β Check back for updates.
