Above Average Temperatures Continue – Rain in the Forecast

A very dry air mass continues to dominate the area, therefore, use extreme caution when burning as fires can quickly get out of hand under these conditions.
Mild overnight lows and warm daytime highs dominate the remainder of the workweek. Low temperatures will bottom out in the 40s and 50s with high temperatures topping out in the 70s. An area of high pressure will stay in control kicking in winds out of the S/SW allowing for above average temperatures to continue. This weekend – a mainly dry cold front will swing through Friday night which will knock down high temperatures as we top out in the mid to upper 60s with more clouds building in. Our rain chances will increase late Sunday through the beginning of next week
