Despite Pandemic Progress, Prom Is Still Canceled This Year In Many School Districts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is canceling proms at all schools district-wide. It’s the second year in a row the event has been canceled due to the pandemic. It comes after Cabarrus County Schools and Mooresville High School also canceled their prom plans.

We’re also told CMS has not made a final decision about graduation plans.
