‘Round Town With Rising: Indian Trail

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Get out, see the sights, ride ‘Round Town with Rising! Each Tuesday and Thursday we scope out a surprise spot around our city.  The latest locale: Indian Trail!

First stop today is the Extreme Ice Center. It’s one of the largest ice centers in the area – with hockey, figure skating, lessons, a shop and even a tavern. It’s owned by the Logano family, as in NASCAR star – Joey Logano!

After that, we made our way over to the Veterans Memorial Garden. It opened, quite fittingly, on Memorial Day in 2019. It has seating areas, a monument for prisoners of war and those missing in action, and flags representing every branch of the armed forces.

Finally today we hit up Trail’s Dynasty Miniature Golf and Creamery. With 18 holes and 32 flavors of Hershey’s ice cream – what more do you need? They open at noon every day, and you can even bring your own putter.
