CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives say 21-year-old Michael Frost has been charged for his involvement in the shooting that occurred Monday night at a southwest Charlotte Walmart.
Detectives say Frost turned himself in voluntary to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, where he was served with a warrant for carrying a concealed weapon.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a suspect after a southwest Charlotte Walmart shooting happened Monday night.
The police department is requesting information from the public that may help in the case.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 7:20 p.m. to the Walmart located on South Tryon Street. When officers arrived, they located evidence of a shooting inside Walmart and began a search for the suspect and anyone injured.
At the end of the search, no suspects or victims were located; however, evidence gathered on scene indicates someone may have been injured as a result of the shooting.
Detectives investigating this case have released a photograph, which is believed to be the suspect in the shooting.
