On Friday, most neighborhoods will top out in the 70s with some making a run at 80! Cloud cover will increase through the weekend and winds will shift from the SW to the E as a mainly dry cold front swings through Friday evening, therefore, high temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s with us holding onto mild overnight lows. This Friday cold front will likely still have moisture with it as it makes its way to the high country so scattered showers are in the forecast for the Mountains Friday and Saturday. A few showers could sneak across the Piedmont late Friday evening. Rain coverage will be isolated and very few and far between for the Piedmont through the weekend. The best chance for measurable rainfall comes through the beginning of next week.
