CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating an east Charlotte homicide after an 18-year-old was shot and killed Sunday.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded to Delta Lake Drive, off of East W.T. Harris Boulevard, around 5 p.m. after a call about a deadly weapon.
When officers arrived, they located a man with a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Milton Howard, was pronounced dead on the scene by Medic.
According to officials, detectives on the case are speaking with all parties involved and are not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
