CONCORD, N.C. — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Concord Saturday morning with all three occupants out of the home and safely away from the flames.
Fire Department officials say they received the call for service at 6:46 a.m. and crews arrived three minutes later to find smoke coming from three sides of the attic area of a house on Swink Street Southwest.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control by 6:54 a.m., with a total of 26 firefighters responding to the home, officials say.
Concord Fire Department officials say the fire causing an estimated $7,500 in damage is under investigation by the Concord Police Department.
