Solidarity Vigil Held at Marshall Park for Asian Community in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – People in Uptown Charlotte joined forces to stand against hate and racism on Sunday night.

Community members gathered at Marshall Park for an Asian solidarity candlelight vigil.

Organizers are calling for change following a shooting rampage at three Atlanta-area spas, that killed eight people.

“It’s really important that we are more aware and listen to each others’ stories without holding a racist or ignorant mindset,” said Rock Hill, SC resident Kaitlyn Hear.
