Discussion:
A cold front passing through this morning bringing more rain and storms to the area. It will get a little noisy here in Charlotte through the AM commute with heavy rain leading to localized flooding. But, by mid-morning rain moving out of the area. Highs today will reach the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Unsettled pattern for the weekend. Showers and a storm or two return Saturday afternoon. Temps remain warm with highs reaching the mid-70s. Concern grows for severe storms Sunday. A disturbance will pass through the region during peak daytime heating. Highs will reach the upper 70s during the day. Strong to severe storms possible with damaging wind, heavy rain, and isolated tornadoes all threats. Cooler start to next week with temps back in the 40s Monday morning. However, seasonable highs return for the afternoon with temps reaching the mid-60s. Warming back to the low 70s by Wednesday with a cooler outlook for Easter weekend.
