Strong Storms Possible Over the Weekend

Watching the risk for isolated strong storms on Sunday
Dew points will fall through the evening, but the drier air mass does not stick around for long. Dew points and cloud cover will increase through Saturday with late afternoon and evening scattered showers in play. Our next weather system arrives on Sunday and this brings another risk for severe weather. Storm Prediction Center has the WCCB viewing area in a Slight Risk (level 2/5) for severe weather. The timing and the impacts will need to be fine-tuned over the next 24-hours. High temperatures over the weekend top out in the mid to upper 70s, but fall back into the 60s on Monday in wake of the Sunday cold front.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 56.
Saturday: Few PM showers/storms. High: 77.
Sunday – Palm Sunday: Cold front. Showers with possible severe storms. High:79.
Have a beautiful weekend and stay weather aware on Sunday!
