CMPD: Two Juveniles Shot In Northwest Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two juveniles were seriously injured in a drive-by shooting in northwest Charlotte, according to police.  Authorities say another minor, a 7-year-old girl, was also shot a few hours later in the same area.  You can get more details on that case HERE.

The shooting was reported around 3:15pm on March 30th near the intersection of Hovis Road and Ponderosa Street.  Medic says they transported two patients to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are currently investigating.  No suspect information has been released at this time.  This is a developing story.  Check back for updates.
