Pleasant Tuesday, but Big Changes Coming
Pleasant Tuesday, Stormy Wednesday
It’s setting up to be a beautiful Tuesday. Highs will reach the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. Rain chances return Wednesday with a few storms possible. Damaging wind gusts possible with a few stronger storms as well as a localized flooding threat. We have a had a lot of rain over the past few weeks, so any additional heavy rain could easily lead to flash flooding. Rain moves out Wednesday.
Freezing Temps Late Week
A cold, dry and windy day will be in store Thursday. Gusts will likely exceed 50-60 mph for the mountains. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50s. Overnight lows will fall below freezing with wind chills toppling into the 20s! Frost Advisory has been set for the far eastern fringe of the region. Make sure you cover or take in any sensitive plants that you may have planted over the last few warmer days. Temps will remain chilly with lows below freezing through Saturday morning.
However, Easter weekend is looking great. Temps will reach the low 60s Saturday afternoon. Sunny and dry through the weekend with highs back in the 70s by Sunday. Dry through early next week.
