CMPD Requesting Public’s Help Identifying Man Who Robbed Captain D’s

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are requesting the public’s help with identifying a man accused of robbing a west Charlotte fast food restaurant at gunpoint.

The robbery happened on February 20 just before 9 p.m. at the Captain D’s location on Freedom Drive.

According to police, during the course of a business transaction, the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from an employee.  The suspect was last seen running behind the business towards Freedom Drive.

The suspect was described as a thin black man who was around 5’9”.  He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, dark-colored bandana, and flip flops, police say.
