HICKORY, N.C. — Officials with the Hickory Public Library say author, TedX speaker, and autistic comedian Michael McCreary will perform stand-up comedy through a Zoom meeting on April 20th starting at 6 p.m.

Library officials say to register here or call 828-304-0500 to watch McCreary present his act “Does This Make My Asperger’s Look Big” for free.

McCreary, 25, says he has been performing stand-up comedy since he was thirteen, and has traveled across Canada and the United States for various shows and keynote addresses.

Officials say McCreary is also the author of his memoir “Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic” and he has even worked as a consultant for the TV show “Ransom” to ensure the authenticity of a character with autism.
