Finally Feeling Like April
Abundant sunshine and winds out of the southwest will fuel an explosive warm-up into the 80s by midweek.
Happy Easter! The sunshine is here to stay, but the cold air that’s been hanging over the Carolinas for the entirety of April so far is finally moving out. As high pressure slides to the east, warm air will float into the Carolinas from the south and west, returning temperatures to above-normal values for much of the week ahead. Expect highs in the 60s and 70s for our Monday before 80s return to the forecast Tuesday through Thursday. While our sunny reprieve should last through Wednesday, an expansive storm system may roll in by the end of the week. Next weekend looks a bit cooler, but highs should remain near-average in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Tonight: Clear and cool. Low: 43°. Wind: Light.

Monday Night: Remaining clear. Low: 50°. Wind: SW 5-10.
