‘Round Town with Rising: University City

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Get out, see the sights, ride ‘Round Town with Rising!  Each Tuesday and Thursday we scope out a surprise spot around our city.  The latest locale: University City!

We’re kicking the day off with some music at PNC Pavilion – set to reopen in June with concerts from people like the Dave Matthews Band and the Backstreet Boys. It even hosted Paul McCartney years ago.

After that – we’re headed to school at UNC Charlotte to check out the campus with its 30,000 students.

Finally we’re finishing the day with a little preview of something to come – the new Topgolf facility! No opening date yet, but it’s going to get busy whenever they finish building.
