Turning Up The Heat

High pollen counts and plenty of sunshine dominate Wednesday

Air Quality Alert in effect from 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday for Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union counties. Sensitive groups should limit their time outside.

Pollen Counts remain extreme through the week with tree pollen – oak, elm, pine, and juniper being the top allergens.

An area of high pressure overhead is allowing wall-to-wall sunshine to dominate our Tuesday. Expect dry conditions to carry into Wednesday, but a few more clouds will be overhead. A cold front will swing across the area Thursday evening which will bring scattered showers to some neighborhoods through the second half of Thursday. This front will stall to our south which will bring an unsettled Friday and Saturday to the WCCB area. An area of high pressure will build back in on Sunday bringing tranquil weather back to the area.

Have a wonderful week!
