Edge On The Clock: Amazon Rolls Out Palm Scanners At One Of Its Whole Foods Stores
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Amazon is rolling out new palm scanners at one of its Whole Foods stores. The technology is called Amazon One and allows shoppers to pay for purchases by holding their hands above a scanner. Here’s how it works: before you can use it you have to give the company your credit card information and a palm print.
Plus, Qantas Airlines is investigating after a comedian named Dave O’Neil posted on social media that he received a request for him to pay $987,999,999 Australian dollars for extra leg room.
And, West Virginia will pay you to move there. Governor Jim Justice announced a program called Ascend West Virginia.
