Hundreds, Including Civil Rights Activists And Politicians, Attend Daunte Wright Funeral
MINNEAPOLIS — A final farewell for Daunte Wright was held Thursday night. Wright’s death – one of the latest in a string of police killings of black men.
The 20-year-old’s celebration of life reiterated calls for justice and accountability.
The funeral brought together family, friends, civil rights activists and politicians.
The service comes just two days after former Officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of George Floyd’s murder.
