Edge On The Clock: The Panthers Trade QB Teddy Bridgewater

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Panthers have traded Teddy Bridgewater to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick. The Panthers website says dealing Bridgewater was likely inevitable once the Panthers traded three picks. 28-year-old Bridgewater started 15 games for the Panthers last year, missing one with a knee injury.

Plus, authorities at the JKF Airport in New York have arrested a man caught trying to smuggle nearly three dozen live birds in his clothes. Officials say customs agents pulled the man from Guyana aside for an examination found 35 live finches stuffed inside hair rollers sealed with netting.

And, a new poll from MyPetNeedThat.com finds 1 in 3 North Carolinians think walking dogs every day should be a legal requirement. 43% believe dog owners who don’t walk their pets should receive a life ban from owning pets.
