GASTONIA, N.C. — The Gaston Workforce Development Board will host its second Drive-Thru Job Fair on Tuesday, May 4th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Officials say the fair will be held at the main public library on Garrison Boulevard in Gastonia, N.C, thanks to a partnership with the Gaston County Public Library
More than a dozen employees and community organizations, including Dole, GSM Services, Kintegra Health, NCWorks, and Gaston College, will be at the drive-thru fair to speak with potential candidates about employment opportunities, according to a news release.
Candidates are asked to bring copies of their resume as they speak with employers from the convenience of their own vehicles, and officials say COVID-19 guidelines, including wearing a face mask and social distancing, are expected to be followed.
