National Honesty Day with the Rising Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – No lie – today is National Honesty Day. It’s celebrated every year on April 30th – meant to encourage honesty and straightforward communication in politics, relationships, consumer affairs and more.

The day was invented by M. Hirsch Goldberg, who chose the last day of April for two reasons. The first – to pair it with April Fools Day at the start of the month. The second reason is because today is the anniversary of George Washington’s first inauguration – on April 30th, 1789.

So – in honor of all that, the Rising team is getting questions – and we’re getting the truth.
