Cold Front Arrives on Wednesday
A few showers will linger this evening into Wednesday morning as a cold front moves across the area. There is a very slim chance an isolated strong storm could develop early Wednesday east of I-85, but the risk is low. We stay warm on Wednesday with high temperatures in the low 80s across the Piedmont. Skies will clear through the day with humidity dropping. Expect this high humidity to exit the area with the front along with a much nicer air massΒ in place in wake of the front. High temperatures on Thursday and Friday only top out in the low 70s with plenty of sunshine.
Tonight: Few showers. Low: 66. Mild and muggy.
Wednesday: Cold front crossing early. Humidity falling through the day. High: 82.
Thursday: Cool with low humidity and plenty of sunshine. High: 73.
