One More Round of Storms

Another warm and sticky day ahead of a strong cold front. This front will bring showers to the mountains by mid-morning. A few stronger storms will likely develop across the I-85 corridor by mid to late afternoon. A few of these storms could produce damaging wind and heavy downpours to the east of I-77. Rain will clear the area by midnight.

Dry and cool for the end of the week. Noticeably cooler Thursday morning with temps in the 40s and 50s. Highs will be well below average, only reaching the low 70s Thursday under mostly sunny skies. Even cooler Friday. A quick pulse of energy will bring the chance for a few quick showers late Thursday into Friday morning – unnoticeable to most.

The weekend will be pleasant with highs in the low 70s Saturday. Sunday will bring the return of the low 80s. A cold front will bring rain and storms back to the region early next week.
