Discussion:
A cold front will cross the area today and remain just south of the area. This will allow for rounds of rain and storms. The severe threat remains low, but a few stronger storms could produce damaging wind later this afternoon. Highs will reach the low 80s today. Cooler for the rest of the week. Highs will top out in the low 70s tomorrow with a chance for afternoon showers. Temps will continue to fall with unseasonably cold weather taking hold the rest of the week. Highs will struggle to reach the low 60s Wednesday with more showers and a few storms in the forecast. This cool pattern will remain in the forecast through the end of the week. Drier and warmer temps return by the weekend.
