Trading Spring for Winter on Wednesday
A gloomy winter-like day is upon us. Expect cloudy skies, numerous showers and a breeze through the day on Wednesday. Rain will be numerous through the first half of the day and scattered by the afternoon. Some neighborhoods across the southern Piedmont could pick up 0.5” of rain where most across the WCCB area will see under 0.25”. High temperatures will likely stay in the 40s and 50s area wide with a wedge type set-up and a northeast wind. Though temperatures are dropping big time, we have good news for our plants and gardens, temperatures are not cooling enough to bring a frost or freeze. Temperatures will gradually rise through the second half of the week with highs by Friday back to 70Β°.
Tonight: Overnight increasing showers. Cloudy. Low: 52. Wind: NE 5-10.
Wednesday: Cool/cold! High: 55. Numerous then Scattered showers. Wind: NE 5-15.
Have a wonderful week. Stay dry and warm tomorrow!
