CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chick-Fil-A representatives said on Wednesday that the chicken chain is limiting the number of sauces it gives out per order due to a nationwide shortage.
Representatives say that industry-wide supply chain issues have caused this shortage of select items, including their sauces.
In response, Chick-Fil-A will only be giving out one dipping sauce per item ordered at many thousands of its locations across the U.S.
“We are actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly and apologize to our guests for any inconvenience,” the company said in a statement.
Company officials say fortunately they have not yet been impacted by the chicken shortage that many other companies have been experiencing.
