Chatting With The Stars Of Superman & Lois

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Superman & Lois airs Tuesdays on the CW Network @ 9PM ET /8C. The show returned after a hiatus on Tuesday, May 18. The new series has already been picked up for a second season.

Derek caught up with two of the show’s stars, Alex Garfin and Jordan Elsass for some fun and a sneak peak at what fans can expect in the new episodes.

Alex Garfin plays Jordan Kent in The CW’s highly anticipated series “Superman & Lois.”

Garfin is an honor student at NYC’s famed Fiorello LaGuardia High School. At three years old he appeared in a string of Nickelodeon videos. At five years old, Garfin and his brother Max were both cast in separate parts in the film “Salt,” starring Angelina Jolie. At six years old he appeared in his first episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” At nine, he performed for the first time on an Equity stage in the legendary Joel Grey’s version of “On Borrowed Time.” At 15, he originated the role of Jamie in Matt Williams’ play “Fear,” starring Enrico Colantoni, at the historic Lucille Lortel Theater in New York City. He has appeared in multiple national television commercials including commercials for Purell, Denny’s and Tyson Chicken.

Other television credits include “New Amsterdam” and “Whisker Haven Tales with the Palace Pets.” Film credits include “The Peanuts Movie” as the voice of Linus.

Garfin was born and raised in Manhattan, he enjoys acting, singing, and playing the piano

Jordan Elsass stars as Jonathan Kent in The CW’s highly anticipated series “Superman & Lois.”

Elsass most recently was seen starring opposite Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon as Trip Richardson in the hit mini-series “Little Fires Everywhere.”

Other television credits include “Panic,” “The Long Road Home,” “Billy and the Bandit” and “Vindication.” Film credits include “Pegasus: Pony with a Broken Wing.”

Elsass currently resides in Austin, Texas.
