Edge On The Clock: Guy Fieri Inks $80M Deal With The Food Network

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The highest paid celebrity chef on TV is now Guy Fieri. The Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives star signed a contract with the Food Network worth $80M over three years. That’s a $50M raise from his previous deal. It also makes him the highest paid star on the network, which is owned by Discovery. The deal is unusual because Discovery generally caps the salaries of its stars at seven figures.

Plus, tennis star Naomi Osaka says she is sitting out media press conferences during the French Open, saying it’s time for the media to focus on the mental well-being of athletes.

And, Ryan Seacrest is allegedly auditioning replacements for the Kardashians after their reality TV series comes to an end next month. On the auditioning board right now are Bella Thorne and her sisters Dani and half-sister Kaili (pronounced Kylie).
