Man Invents Device To Keep Germs Off Birthday Cake
RICHMOND, VA– A man in Virginia has come up with an invention that will help those yummy tasting birthday cakes stay free of germs.
The device is called the “Blowzee”. It allows someone to blow out the candles on a birthday cake without the spittle flying all over the cake. Mark Apelt began working on the idea during the pandemic.
The idea came to him when he was at a child’s birthday party. The “Blowzee” allows children to still use their own lungs to blow, but the air that travels over the cake doesn’t come from their lungs, it comes from a fan connected to the device.
The “Blowzee” is now available online.
