CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Duke won their first ACC Baseball Championship title after beating N.C. State 1 to 0 at Truist Field in uptown Charlotte on Sunday.
After missing their scheduled chance to play against one another in the regular season, N.C. State and Duke competed on May 30th in the ACC Baseball Championship.
The Blue Devils extended their 12-game winning streak a little further by beating the Wolfpack 1 to 0 Sunday afternoon, and gaining their automatic bid to the NCAA Division Baseball Tournament.
The last time Duke won the ACC was 60 years ago, before the conference established the ACC Championship in 1973.
