Live Music, Fireworks, And More At The USNWC Memorial Day Celebration

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Celebrate Memorial Day at the National Whitewater Center in Charlotte Sunday evening with fireworks, live music, food, and more.

Center officials say Nashville singer-songwriter Carl Anderson will take the outdoor stage at 6 p.m. on May 30th to kick off the celebration.

Officials say The War and Treaty married duo will follow with their first set at 8 p.m.

Visitors can buy beer and food at one of three dining options at the center, to enjoy while listening to local bands play.

Parking is $6 per car ($60 for a year pass), but officials say the Memorial Day celebration festivities are free.

Event officials say the fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m., followed by The War and Treaty’s second set at 9:45 p.m. to finish out the night.
